Carrie & Brad Engagement Session (Chicago Engagement Photographer)

When you find “the one”, you just know! Carrie and Brad met at a White Sox tailgate (which of course, as a White Sox fan, made me love them even more!) and they quickly discovered that they were a perfect fit. From being able to share their amazing first date at the Printer’s Row Lit Fest to loving Bears games, to enjoying being total foodies, these two were a match made in… well, Chicago! As we got to know them, we realized that Carrie and Brad are a TRUE Chicago couple. Brad is originally from Chicago and Carrie grew up just outside the city, so they do have the advantage of being here their whole lives, but they love this city and take advantage of everything Chicago has to offer: the neighborhoods, great restaurants, festivals, sports, you name it! You know all of those fun things you put on your Chicago summer to-do list but they never get done? Carrie and Brad are the couple that actually does them!

Knowing how much they love Chicago, we wanted to do their engagement shoot in a location that feels really urban as well as some downtown spots since they happen to work in buildings across the street from each other along Wacker! We had such a great afternoon of shooting and it was so awesome when they told us at the end of the shoot that they had so much fun that they are actually REALLY excited for the wedding day pictures! Well, we are too! We can’t wait for Carrie and Brad’s wedding at The Rookery in March! … and just a heads up that Eric is especially looking forward to the late night treat at the reception, those vintage Chicago style snacks including his favorite… popcorn! If we end up with an excessive amount of popcorn pictures, that might be why… just sayin’. 🙂

Congratulations Carrie & Brad!
